When a body, a person,or a system (group, etc.) experiences an imbalance, that same body, person,or system will mobilize certain forces to resolve the problem. Take the simple case of a cut in the skin: the blood circulation and the whole organism mobilize to heal the injured area. Today, this “natural”principle is often interrupted, or even prevented, in a number of ways:We donot listen to our bodies (in the majority of cases). We ask a third party what is wrong with us (the doctor -please note: it is absolutely essential to “consult”a doctor in order to be sure of what is wrong with us on a rational level; however, we must also remember that our body, our consciousness, “knows”what is happening to us, even if we cannot put scientific terms to the phenomena encountered). We preempt our body's healing “work”by taking medicines too quickly.
Listening to the body is the key to real, lasting healing. Understanding the signal sent by the body is the first step toward healing. We will see how each imbalance can be seen in a positive light: it forces us to “come back to ourselves”when we have forgotten ourselves, in a different way depending on the form and content of the signal in question. As such, illness, cancer, accident, pain,or blockagesare all manifestations that lead us on an inner journey that should help us, not punish or condemn us! We may not understand what it's all about, but the important thing is to welcome and accept whatis happening: thisis how our body “tells”or “shows”us something important.
